About

The title, One Step at a Time, came from my husband telling me that I need to slow down and just take everything one step at a time. You see I have very little patience and when I make a decision I like to get it done then and there.

When we bought our house I wanted to redo and fix everything all at once. We are slowly doing everything as we make it our home.

We have a 5 month old, Monkey, and I want her to be able to do everything now. Seeing her get frustrated because she can't do something makes it harder for me to have the patience to wait for her to develop at her own rate. She is teaching me to slow down and enjoy this time I have with her.

I wanted to start blogging so that I can record all my joys and sorrows that we will go through in our lives.
